On 19th and 20th of November, the WECAN project partnership, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme, met for the first time in Valencia, Spain! Discover here the objectives of this project led by EUROCIRCLE - Centre d'Information Europe Direct, from France.
The WECAN project began in November 2019 and will end in December 2021. It is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, which supports the development of innovative training in the workplace. The objective of the project is to strengthen women’s entrepreneurial capacity and to empower the would-be entrepreneurs, or those with a newly established business, with a tailored coaching programme. The project will also create women’s knowledge sharing e-hubs in the partner countries and will strengthen participants competences in business continuity, risk management, communication, negotiation skills, business plan writing, digital marketing, and leadership.
The strength of this project comes from the complementary and expertise of the 6 organizations involved in the project; each partner has a specific role in the project based on its experience and ability to work with the relevant stakeholders.
The first phase of the project is to develop a WECAN methodological guide for coaching adult women in sense of initiative and Entrepreneurship.
Throughout the project, we want to integrate the stakeholders to obtain their opinion on our activities and results.
